Fall Football Snacks for the Whole Family

We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: memories are so much sweeter when made in matching pajamas. Our new fall collection will help your family stay cozy and warm this season.

Fall brings lots of things… cooler evenings, fall flavors, and of course, football season! To celebrate, we’re sharing our favorite fall football snacks that the whole family will be able to enjoy together.

These recipes are quick and easy to make for whenever you’re craving a game-day snack. So whether you’re cheering on your favorite team, or just getting the family together for a night in, here are some recipes the whole family is sure to love.

We curated these recipes to include fresh, in-season fruits and vegetables, healthy spins on football classics, and flavors that the whole family will love. When it comes to sharing our favorite recipes with you, our top priority is always finding quick and easy recipes for busy moms.

There’s nothing worse than a recipe that claims to be family-friendly, while also taking 6 hours to prepare and using random ingredients that you definitely don’t have in your pantry. We’ve learned with our little ones that most times, less is more. And the quicker you can get food on the table, the happier your evening will be.

So jump right in, and celebrate fall and football season with us here at Birdie Bean.

Our Favorite Fall Football Snacks for the Whole Family

Easy Baked Pretzels with Creamy Cheesy Dip

Is there anything that says football more than a warm, soft baked pretzel with a creamy dip?! This snack is so nostalgic for us and we’ve found an easy way to recreate this classic football snack at home. I bet you didn’t realize you could bake homemade pretzels in just 40 minutes at home! And of course, you can’t have soft pretzels without a variety of creamy dips! Here are some of the ones that we love.

Vegetarian Pigs in a Blanket

Our family doesn’t eat a lot of meat, but that doesn’t mean we want to miss out on gameday classics! We love that Pigs in a Blanket brings back childhood memories of eating a hotdog at the ballpark – but with a healthy and vegetarian spin. These take less than 20 minutes to prepare and would be delicious dipped in those sauces you’ve already made for your soft pretzels.

Plus they also only need 4 ingredients! Make your veggie pigs in a blanket today

Football Field Dip

Blow your football fans away with this amazing football field dip from Delish. This is a spin on the classic seven-layer dip, with the added effort of building it into a football field. What we love about this recipe is that they have a Mediterranean option as well, swapping out the beans for hummus and the sour cream for creamy tzatziki.

Easy Toasted Ravioli

We kept seeing toasted ravioli everywhere – and it was finally time to try them. This recipe couldn’t be easier and if you’re anything like us, you probably already have a bag of ravioli in the freezer for those days you don’t feel like cooking.

Because you’re using premade ravioli, this recipe takes less than 20 minutes. Serve with marinara for a new football snack that the whole family will love. Follow the instructions here.

Baked Mozzarella Sticks

Finding a healthy alternative to mozzarella sticks isn’t always easy! Most of the recipes we found take hours to prepare. However, we did find a recipe that uses frozen cheese sticks (simply stick them in the freezer the morning of) and simple ingredients to bring together a football snack everyone will enjoy.

Make easy, healthy baked mozzarella sticks here. Keep in mind that you can use whatever cheese stick your family loves or you can buy a block of vegan mozzarella and cut it into sticks as well.

Pizza Monkey Bread

If your family is a fan of pizza, then they are going to go bananas for this pizza monkey bread. It’s basically a soft, doughy, pull-apart pizza that you can fill with cheese and dip in warm marinara sauce. You use refrigerated biscuits and chopped pepperoni (but if your family doesn’t eat pepperoni you can easily substitute with something else).

With only a few ingredients, you’ll be digging into this pizza monkey bread in no time. Steal the recipe here

Chocolate Pizza

It wouldn’t be gameday without dessert! Luckily this chocolate pizza is ready to serve in less than 30 minutes. And it’s sure to be your kid's new favorite treat. Make sure to customize the toppings to whatever your family loves.
