Easy Valentine’s Day Treats for Kids
Easy Puff Pastry Strawberry Hearts from Fun Loving Families
You can actually prepare some of this the night before making this a fun and tasty Valentine’s day breakfast for your kids. And with only 6 ingredients & tools needed, it’s pretty simple to put together. Make sure to thaw your puff pastry to assemble the hearts the night before, then all you have to do is bake them in the morning. What a fun way to start Valentine’s day! Grab the recipe here.
Teddy Bear’s Holding Conversation Hearts
This is so simple to make – and they turn out so cute! Simply pick up some graham crackers, candy hearts, and a bit of frosting and you can make these teddy bears holding conversation hearts. Conversation hearts are something that only comes around once a year and this way you can turn a typical Valentine’s day candy into a sweet new treat to throw into a lunchbox or hand out as favors.
Chocolate Strawberry Hearts from One Little Project
These chocolate-covered strawberry hearts are such a cute Valentine’s day treat! They take a little bit more effort to make, but you can always get your Birdies involved with the decorating, once you’ve cut out the shapes for the strawberry hearts. They’re just too cute not to share. Debbie has made easy-to-follow instructions, so make sure you follow her advice.
Heart Rice Krispie Pops
Cindy from Skip to my Lou has brought back a childhood favorite from our past! Keep in mind, while she used a heart-shaped pan, you really only need a heart-shaped cookie cutter for this. Your kids will have a lot more fun helping with the cookie cutters and decorating as well. We bet this treat is going to become a family favorite in your house! Get the full instructions for this treat here.
Cupid’s Arrows
Lastly, you can easily make Cupid’s Arrows from Leanne at Organize and Decorate Everything. These are so easy and fun for the kids to make that you can even hand them out as Valentine’s day favors. You seriously only need 2 ingredients, jelly hearts, and straight pretzel sticks. Easy peasy!
