Our Story

Meet Our Founder
Birdie Bean was built from two things: intention and creativity.
While developing the brand, I was exploring fabric options in search of something elevated, durable, and soft enough to live in. When I discovered bamboo, before it became widely popular, it was an immediate yes. The softness, breathability, and comfort spoke for themselves.
But fabric was only part of the story.
A huge reason I created Birdie Bean was as a creative outlet. I've always had a deep love for design. For color stories, prints, textures, and the small details that make something feel truly special. I didn't just want to create comfortable clothing. I wanted to create pieces that felt joyful, expressive, and thoughtfully made.
Birdie Bean became the intersection of both: premium comfort and intentional design.
I'm a mom of four, and the name came completely naturally. "Birdie" was my daughter's baby nickname, and my oldest son has always been, and still is, "Bean." They were our only two when I started the brand, and now we have two more sweet babes to love.
Birdie Bean felt like the perfect reflection of the heart behind it all. Playful, personal, and rooted in family.
With a child who had sensitive skin, I understood early on how much fabric choice really matters. And with a creative spirit that's always needed an outlet, I knew clothing could be more than functional. It could feel magical.
Every collection is built on that balance: softness first, design always, and family at the center of it all.
