We’re big fans of Amy from Yummy Toddler Foods and this one pot broccoli mac and cheese is one of the favorites in our house. If you have bananas going ripe on the counter, it’s the perfect time to make a batch of banana oatmeal muffins. Keep in mind, when it comes to baking with bananas, the brown spots mean you’ll have more ‘banana’ flavor.
These muffins only take 30 minutes from start to finish and thanks to the oats, they keep your Birdies full longer. You can keep them in the fridge for a few days. so you can make them ahead of time for a quick breakfast or after-school snack. You can even add chocolate chips for an extra treat.
4. Easy Tomato Soup and Grilled Cheese
It can be tempting to reach for canned soup on cold evenings when you don’t feel like cooking… but this three-ingredient tomato soup will taste better and be a lot better for you than anything that comes in a can.
It calls for tomatoes, butter, and onions – and makes the perfect comforting winter meal. Since the recipe uses canned tomatoes, you don’t have to worry about a trip to the supermarket for this one.
