One of the best things to do on New Year’s Eve is toast the New Year with a glass of champagne or your favorite cocktail. However, if you’re celebrating with kids – you’ll want to have some more kid-friendly options. Let’s dive into kid-friendly drinks and treats for your New Year’s Eve celebration.

5 Kid-Friendly Drinks for New Year’s Eve

1. Cotton Candy Mocktail

This might be the cutest and most kid-friendly drink we’ve ever found! They’ll love the bright colors and it’s fun to watch the cotton candy disappear into the drink – and die the sparkling water pink!

We found this recipe on Princess Pinky Girl. With only 2 ingredients they are almost as much fun to make as they are to drink.

2. Ring Pop Mocktail

A ring-pop mocktail is surely a treat that the kids will love. It’s indulgent, but that’s what New Year’s Eve is all about! We found this fun kid-friendly drink on ‘Adventures in Familyhood’ and we think it’s perfect for ringing in the New Year.

3. Milk Chocolate Mocktail

Food Network has brought us this children’s favorite – turned New Year’s Eve mocktail! Make your own here, but depending on how old your Birdies are, you might want to rethink the martini glasses! We’re guessing you’ll already have all the ingredients for this one too.

 4. Classic Cherry Limeade

We found this delicious Sonic Cherry Limeade Copycat that is going to blow your family’s socks off this New Year’s Eve! Trust us, even the adults are going to be asking for more. 4. Pizza Bites

While we love dessert and would share nothing but treats all the time, we also know the importance of getting the kids to eat things other than sugar, especially at parties. That’s why we love making pizza bites! They’re always a hit and you can customize them any way your family likes. This recipe is tasty and stuffed full of vegetables! Which means a win for you and a tasty dinner for the kids.
